Hey! I’m Millie.

I have been working in the fitness industry since the age of 19 so almost 10 years now (scary!)

I am so grateful that I found my passion at such a young age and I take pride in the fact that I have helped so many different women over my journey of being a coach so far. Different ages, experience, backgrounds and all in different stages of life.

I want women to feel like nothing has to hold them back, a fitness journey should be something that evolves with you and adapts around the rollercoaster that is life. It is after all a journey, not a destination! The beauty is in the experiences, lessons and achievements we gain along the way.

My Why

It gives me a real sense of purpose and satisfaction knowing I am inspiring and helping someone else, it originates from when I first started and my friends would ask my advice. The gym makes me feel empowered, strong and I am able to control the outcome and pave my future with the work that I put in, I want others to experience the same. When I started I realised that the fitness industry was still very male dominated at the time. People were trying to apply a one size fits all approach for men vs women which is so wrong. Fast forward to now and I have broadened my knowledge, been on courses, workshops and seminars and have the experience to be able to exclusively work with women and provide them a supportive and safe space to get strong, feel empowered and achieve their goals.

My story

It all started when I got my first gym membership at a local leisure centre when I was 16! I was fed up of being pretty average at everything, I didn’t have anything that I particularly excelled in, no subjects, hobbies or talents and I wanted something to give me a sense of direction and purpose outside of school, so I joined the gym as a hobby. I finished school feeling like I didn’t really know what direction I wanted to go, I had a place at university but did I really want to go or was I just doing what I felt like I had to? I ended up deferring and in the meantime ended up in some jobs that didn’t really fulfill me, I was feeling pretty miserable day to day. The only thing I would look forward to would be my gym session that evening. That’s when it dawned on me that I needed to follow this passion because I might actually be able to have a career that fulfilled me. I went all in with studying to become a personal trainer and started working weekends on the front desk and teaching classes at the gym I trained at! The rest is history, I built up my client base bit by bit and fell in love with helping others better themselves and showing them what they were capable of.
